About us
The firm was originally established by G P Riches, the great-grandfather of the
previous owner Colin Bond. Colin’s father, Ray and his mother, Sylvia, managed what
had been renamed as R H Bond Funeral Directors from the early 1980s.
Colin worked alongside his father from his early teens until July 2020 when he took
the decision to sell the business due to not having a sixth generation of the Bond
family to take over.
The new owner Debbie Stewart has worked in the funeral business for 10 years at
Funeral Directors in both King’s Lynn and Downham Market.
Caring for the deceased and supporting those bereaved are paramount to Debbie, as she knows only too well the heartache a bereavement can bring, as she has had personal experience of losing a very special person in her family.
Debbie wants you all to know that she is available to talk anytime you need her.
So if you too have lost someone dear, or are feeling lonely and just want to chat, then please feel free to pop in for a coffee and meet her as you will always be made welcome.

Chris and his wife Sandra are close friends of Debbie and husband Andy. Their friendship was formed in 2011 when Chris and Debbie worked with each other again in the funeral trade.
Bill
Funeral operative, Bill is always willing to do absolutely anything he is asked and Bill has worked for RH Bond since 1975.
Chris No 2
Funeral operative, Chris has only recently joined
R H Bond and he is also the company photographer.
Bob
Funeral operative, Bob the builder has worked for R H Bond for many years starting as a bricklayer for the Bond family.
Michael
Funeral operative, Michael has known and worked for Debbie in the funeral trade for over 10 years.
Colin
Colin is the previous owner of R H Bond and a good friend of Debbie’s.
Colin will continue to help on funerals.
